Just had a look though this week's RFD TV which includes the latest Country Family Reunion and Larry's Country Diner. The Country Family Reunion has Mikey Johnson all over it, and he is burning it up on both necks. For $10 a month the RFD Country Club site gives you many Americana programs in HD. Joanie Johnson always advises when there are some good recordings going out that feature Mike.

In addition the Marty Stuart Show features Gary Carter on steel, and the Ray Stevens' Nashville show features Tommy White in a small combo where he gets a lot of the kick offs and solo breaks.

As an aside, I happened to google RFD, to find out a bit more.... And this was the first thing to pop up

RFD (magazine), a magazine for rural gay men

Now that seems a bit 'urbanist' to me!

Anyhoo, that looks like the best of country available anywhere.
