New DAB country station.

To any and all who have a DAB radio, I'm reliably informed that there is a new radio station called Chris Country. I have yet to listen to it myself, but thought it was worth a mention all the same.

Definitely worth a mention Jason.
It seems only available on DAB in London,Manchester,Portsmouth and Cambridge. But they've posted a workaround on their site

"Obviously, moving to London just to listen to Chris Country is a bit drastic, however there are plenty of other ways to tune in. We’ve got phone apps for iPhone and Android… we’re also on TuneIn and on the RadioPlayer app, plus you can listen via our website"

Indeed. I'm listening now via the tunin app as I don't have a dab radio downstairs anymore. And it ain't half bad. Modern country,so you ain't gonna get stuff from the seventies but it's better than "Abba fm " any day of the week.

Steady on Jason, if I'm caught having anything to do with badmouthing ABBA, I'll be on short rations for the forseeable!

On a side note, one of my heroes of the PSG, who shall remain nameless, specialises in shoehorning a particular ABBA melody into Country turnarounds and this always gets greeted with much appreciation by the lads of Gartcosh, who can't get enough of said lick.

I'm off to check out Chris Country.
