I came across this app. It runs on all things "i" and some androids. I've got it on a Samsung Galaxy mini. Costs a tenner. Not band in a box, by a long shot, but a great little practice aid nonetheless. Certainly helps with timing and intonation when you're playing along to a backing track. It seems to have a mainly jazz bias but inputting your own songs/chord sequences isn't much of a hassle.
