At a bit of a loss here Will as you see it works for me!

The problem is at your end, we just need to figure out what.
Sorry it's a pain.

I tried again, same problem. So I did a full re-boot of the computer. And now I can post again, it seems. Weird, or what? Thank you for your patience, Bob & Marc.

Just to jump in here, there are a few things that can cause login issues, or rather loss of session issues (getting "bumped out" of your account mid-way through browsing).

Login info between page views is handled by cookies and / or connection info. So if you're having problems it's almost always a problem at your end...

Try deleting cookies (Google for how to in the browser you use), check cookie settings (i.e. that you do accept cookies), and also make sure your IP number stays the same for the duration of your session. Your IP is assigned by your ISP when you connect - it doesn't matter what browser you use - and AOL in particular are good at changing your IP every time you visit a different page. If that happens, even if cookies are present, the forum software will assume your session has been "hijacked" and log you out for safety. Just another reason not to use AOL!

As an update, I've completely disabled IP checking on the forum. Probably not a good idea from a security POV, but as a few are having problems it's all I can do from this end...
