ZB Volume Pedal Owners

Sun Dec 12, 2010 11:50 am

Hi guys, I've been experiencing a fluctuation (not Chinese !!) with the volume from my ZB and yesterday after
getting really pissed off with it decided to go through the leads and everything connected to the amp from the
steel and eventually found that the cog on the vol.pot had actually split and was just rotating on the shaft.
Now fortunately for me, I had a spare that I had from good 'ole Billy Knowles so all is well in the Bloomfield
camp again ! :P :ugeek:
Now what I would like to know has anybody else with a ZB vol. pedal had the same problem and if so, where do
we get replacements if it happens again ?
Surely it can't just happen to me as this is the second time over a period of years this has ocurred, or is it
just typical Bloomfield luck or lack of it !!
All the best from a sunny, freezing (5C) Corfu
Frank. Corfu :D :)

Frank I have my old ZB pedal sitting with same fault.I repaired it many years ago with parts I got from the Steel Mill, but have no idea where to find such parts now.I moved over to a Goodrich (with Tom Bradshaw Dunlop pot)and find it a lot better.

Frank

Billy Knowles on the USA forum carries ZB spares, so he may be able to help you.

Hallo Ken
Yes, I had the one I just fitted from Billy as a spare when he sent me a ZB volume pedal, he would'nt even
accept postage let alone pay for the pedal ! That man is a true gentleman !
All the best
