What's the easy way to fing composers and publishers for old country songs?

Can anyone help me find some info?

Googling is not very good at finding the right answers.

What are you after David? I'm a PRS member and if I want to find out who wrote or published a cover we want to record, I check it on their database. It's sometimes difficult to find old American ones but not impossible. Any particular songs in mind?
