Help with sending steel

Is there anyone that can maybe help please,what it is there is a steel that needs collecting,but the member is having problems trying to find a courier that can collect and deliver the steel,he says not one of the couriers that he has tried are interested in the business,I have also been trying to find one that could collect and deliver,and was shocked as to how much they charge now,the last steel I sent by courier was £19 for a D10 ,and now it’s £40+For a next day delivery.Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jimmy
Tell your friend to try Parcel Force, DHL, TNT. Can be booked online. As you know , they just need the size, L x W x H and the weight. and to cover the steel case in a thick cardboard, leaving the handle exposed. Yes they aren't cheap but I've used all the above with no issues and also its insured..

Just thought I forgot about Parcel Monkey, look at that , they use Parcel Force and are cheaper

I've always found PD4 to have reasonable rates with prompt collection and delivery.
