And why would anyone be on the edge of their steel ? ? ? painting a ceiling or something? sounds like a health and safety issue to me!

What edge are we talking about ? Many, many years ago in my wild youth I fell over backwards from my
steel and landing ,both feet in the air on my back, suppose I should'nt have got pissed really !
Agh, those wild years , seems like the beginning of time ! :lol:

If you put a plank between 2 steels a ceiling would no bother.

excellent suggestion Donny, even better, slide the 9 x 2 plank under the strings, and bring the strings up to full tension, to stop the plank sliding on the smooth fret board, and if we threw in some compulsary harness training, it would significantly reduce the number of steel guitar related accidents, but just thinking, you had better do your ceilings before you sell the Blanton, otherwise the plank will become a see saw,
Frank, in my present band, it is compulsary to get pi***d, i guess thats why they put backs on some steelies seats? :guitar:

Yo, Eddie from a hot,sunny Corfu !

That brings back some excellent memories of a band I played with many years ago, The Red Canyon Band from
Wales where we were notorious ! First set top notch, second set, um, well ,ok-ish, third set, forget it ! :shock:

I think we had shares in Welsh Brewers Beer !
Had many a laugh with those guys,not many left from that line-up ! 8-)
