And, no rehearsal, that's the way to capture electricity in your recordings, if you're up to it, that is.

Ron, that has brought tears to my eye's, not just a drip or two, but enough to wet my chin and shirt. I'm looking at the little 45rpm MGM-EP 608 disc 'I Saw The Light" No 2 and on it I'm Gonna Sing, Message To My Mother, Thank God and The Angel Of Death. It was the first record I ever bought and it has been a treasure ever since. I can't remember the date I bought it, but it has to have been around the time of his death, or a bit later...1956 springs to mind because I had been given a Uke by my grandfather for my 9th birthday in the July and although I had been told of Hanks death on January 1st 1953 my other grandfather used to sing and hums his songs.
Shit age is horrible...very close to 75 and still having nostalgic memories that make you weep. I think the saying 'They Don't Make 'Em Like That Anymore' is very apt for today's over-produced music by over-rated musicians.
