Just for fun, If You had the ability to become very proficient in one style of playing and reasonable in other styles which would You prefer.
1. Lightning fast like Doug Jernigan or Buck Reid.
or
2 Slower and emotional like John Hughey.

It’s got to be the Hughey emotional style for me on pedal steel, only the steel can hit that spot where imho no other instrument can do that for me! Crying steel every time!
