Neil Young tribute in Dublin looking for a steely

Postby sean_oleary » Thu Jan 17, 2013 4:44 pm

Hi

I play with a Neil Young tribute in Dublin (http://www.facebook.com/harvestatributetoneilyoung).

We're playing a gig at the Sugar Club in Dublin on Fri 14th June 2013 - the day before Neiler himself plays at the RDS!!

We're looking for a steel guitar player to play the late great Ben Keith's lines in a few songs.

Anybody out there interested and/or available?

Please send me a private message to discuss.

Thanks.
Sean

There is a young lady here in Bristol that plays for two Neil Young Tribute bands. I can contact her if required.

Hey there,
Im based in Galway and a HUGE NY fan, Goin' too see him rock like crazy with the Horse in the RDS.
RIP Ben Keith. i think he is responsible for getting so many players like myself into playing steel.

Paul Brennan is in the hot seat. Thanks Paul :-)

Thanks to everyone else who responded.

Neil Young is for life, not for Christmas.

Might get to see you then :)
I've seen Paul play at the steel festival in Ireland, and I think you've got a master player there. I'm more at the intermediate level I would say. Sugar Club is a lovely venue, I've played there in the past
