South Sea Islands Music radio special 31st December 2017

This is just to let everyone know that on Sunday evening 31st December from 6pm-9pm (UK time i.e. GMT - Greenwich Mean Time) I shall be presenting a 3-hour South Sea islands Music special. There will be a lot of steel music in this show. I am letting you know as I so often have people tell me that they never hear steel guitar music on the radio these days. These are occasional shows; my regular show is a country music show.The music in the show will be drawn from Hawaiian, country and popular music sources and will span from the 1930s to the present day.

You can listen live on www.uckfieldfm.co.uk where you will also find a lively chat room where listeners exchange typed comments with other listeners around the world. If you are listening from outside the UK, you can google GMT to ascertain the exact time difference. As an indication it will be Sunday afternoon in USA and Canada and early Monday morning in Australia and New Zealand

I don't profess to be an expert on steel guitar music but I do enjoy the sound - whether it is lap steel or pedal. I hope that some members will gain some enjoyment from this show.
