Found a VHS tape from 85 today, got it up on Windows 7 but a unable to edit as it has no Windows Editing feature so there is a little of Emmons on the end.

Scotty. Hope it works for you.

Fantastic clip Slimbo! What a stonkin' version of I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry. Touching to see the little bit of Buddy Emma n's setting up, too.
Thanks for posting.

Slimbo.

I've got Windows 7 (64bt) and although I use a 'bought' editing programme, 'Windows Moviemaker' should be in W7.
It has quite a few good editing features and can be downloaded free from Microsoft - as part of Windows Essentials
You can choose how many parts of Essentials you want to install.
Obviously you need to get the original VHS footage into your PC and digitised - which can be a pain - as you may already have discovered.
If you want to splash out on serious video editing - I use and recommend Pinnacle Studio. Not cheap, but great pro type features.
Hope I'm not preaching to the converted !
Cheers
