hey, am i allowed in this 'ere scots corner? i did once own a Cairn terrier, made frequent boozy visits to Parkhead, love shortbread, and my first gig on steel was in Linwood, with a guy from Kilmarnock, known as Big Bob King in the early 90's, and my newly aquired ZB has just spent a few weeks in very capable hands in Glasgow, thats my scottish credentials, anyway, glad to see the site going well, very informative,

AND!!!!!!!!! How about me? I once heard Sidny Devine on the radio, surely that counts for something, ok! 'never again' but at least I should be considered for some recognition from 'norf of de border'

I will say now, if I dont get that recongnition, dont any of you lot try getting into Wales.

HEY !
I got to get onto this as well, being English by birth, lived most of my life in Swansea .S.Wales, and now reside
here in Corfu must say that being the honoury host of the Glasgow steel /drinking society , Corfu Div. Being led
astray drinking Laphriog in vast quantities thanks to Chairman Bob Adams, Oh, and I play "Dark Island" as well
so that must count for something ? Have I missed anything ?

frank,[the laphriog drinking kilted sassanach], you reminded me of another Scottish credential i have, the first tune i learned on steel was off a Gerry Hogan VHS tape, 'The Skye Boat Song' key of F, so its no wonder ive been inducted as an Honoury Scot, but regards you Dave, all i can say is, you are recognised north of the border all right, but i wouldnt like to comment any further on that,
PS. have you noticed it is only English Exiles who have responded so far? Corfu [somewhere hot and far way] Wales [ somewhere n cold near England] and Ireland [ somewhere wet near America]
