Sad, Sad news the great Buddy Charleton has passed away, My thoughts are with those he has left behind. Another great Hall of Famer gone.....its a sad day...

Absolutely John. Monster player of both necks and teacher to many steel guitarists. Poor guy had been ill for quite a while.

Very sad indeed he was one hell of a player. Back in the 70's he offered me the most beautiful turquoise D10 Emmons for £500 which at that time I had no chance of raising, wish I had though. R.I.P. Buddy,
