Another loss

What a week for steel guitar! Jerry Brightman a few days ago, now I hear Bud carter has passed away in the early hours of the morning. Another sad loss for steel guitar.

So many makes of guitar had Bud's design ideas in them, including the scissor changer. It will be a quiet place here in Texas this morning.

So sorry to hear this, had the honour of meeting and speaking to him quite a few times at the Dallas show, he was a very quiet unassuming man, a pure genius on all things steel, we all owe him a great deal.Condolences to his family and friends.
