Rumours that Tommy White is leaving the Grand Ole Opry to go on the road with Vince Gill.

How could Vince do this to Me after He said I was getting the job?
I guess Tommy knows a few more licks than I do.
Tommy will do a great job.
Guess I will have to settle for the Opry job.

Hope it's just temporary. One of the things I was looking forward to next April was seeing Tommy at the Opry. He's such a great live player. I would imagine that Vince could make him an offer he couldn't refuse. Rumour had it that John H was paid mega bucks to tour and record with Vince.
