Dave, her step father is Dicky Overby, the one top steel player I have never had the chance to see live.Dicky's health is not to good so he only does local Texas gigs.Check out some of the other guys involved in CD, Bobby Flores,Justin Trevino etc all Texas's top players They are all involved in "Heart of Texas" Records.Bobby is appearing at the Northern Nashville Festival up in Thurso in April, Amber and Justin have also played there over the last couple of years.Long way up there but well worth it to see these guys.

I'm so pleased you started this thread David. I was not familiar with Dick Overbey before, and i just love his playing. I also didn't know Justin Trevino or Amber Digby. I love 'two empty glasses'. I also love the way that guitar player - Randy- plays the bass line whilst the steel is in motion! Wish my guitar player would play like that. Mind you i wish I could play like that too.

My signed copy arrived in post today as per Amber's email(oh yee of little faith,-- if the cap fits!!!!!), fantastic album. She said Malcolm just don't pay any attention to that Zumboil and Uncle Buck or what ever they are called they are just jealous.
