Hi Folks

I emailed Bernard today enquiring about a new e9,
Sadly for us has has finally gave in to retirement, and is just supply replacement parts for his steels if needed.
I guess apprenticeships in PSG are a dying breed,Thankfully Dave wheelhouse, and Ronnie Bennett, are still producing top notch steels
here in the uk.
Bernards steels look like being cherished collectors items, hopefully giving years of slick sounds

Thanks for your expertise Benard

Enjoy your retirement

I'm certainly very pleased with mine - or the bits Bernie did. It started life as a lefty, and the other work done to swap it over doesn't all meet the same standards. What the hell - it works well, especially after a few tweaks from me, and I like the tone. It may not be a Sheffield, but it's the best I've ever had.

I ordered a PSG from Bernard at the beginning of 2012 and I collected it in September 2012. He mentioned that this would be the last steel guitar he would build so I count myself lucky to obtain one. (single neck, 4 pedals, 5 knee levers ) I Bernard's new love is model railways.
