Steel Guitar Hall of Fame

Rumours that Dickie Overby is to be inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame at St.Louis Convention this coming weekend. Richly deserved,if he is.

I hope that Bobbe Seymour does not get overlooked again this year. His outspoken views do work against him in this award.

Yes Dickey was indeed inducted this year.

Winnie Winston and Bobby Caldwell were also inducted this year. Bobby joins Johnny Farina as being inducted primarily for their efforts as back up 6 string guitarists, although Mr Caldwell's services to steel guitar shows over the years have been immeasurable.
