Sad news came my way yesterday, Ron Jones singer/guitarist passed away yesterday , Mainstay of The Westerners
back in the day ,he also ran The Silver Dollar Music Club in Aberaman. I have known Ron since I played at his club firstly with Phoenix County and then Frisco, the last time I saw Ron was when I played at the club with The Hank Hillman Band just after we moved back from Corfu.
He was a top rate singer and entertainer who will be sadly missed. R.I.P. Ron

Sorry for the loss Frank, I don't think I knew him but we all getting to that age.I hope he is at peace.

Sad news about Ron, Frank. I played at the Silver Dollar with the Ed Nix & Busted band a few years ago. Ron was an extremely amiable character, and made a great MC on the night. RIP Ron - you were very much a pioneer of the UK country music scene.
