Flowers

Postby Jif » Wed May 04, 2022 12:14 pm

What can I say, just that the Gartcosh crew are a great bunch of guys. The boys decided that my other half had been carrying a heavy load this past year and deserved a bit of cheering up. So they sent these beautiful flowers to Janice who got them this morning, she was surprised & moved by this lovely gesture. There were so many flowers she had to use two vases!

Thanks so much guys, you really made her day and mine. It's a privilege being a part of this family of steelers. Looking forward to seeing you all at Gartcosh to thank you all in person.

Hi Geoff, glad Janice liked the flowers, I placed the order and they were delivered that same day, how is that for service.
I hope you are feeling well and not giving Janice too many headaches.
See you at Gartcosh Geoff whenever you feel up to it, remember it is the Fourth Tuesday of the month (excluding December)

Hi Willy, thanks for doing that, muchas gracias amigo. Looking forward to returning to Gartcosh, unfortunately it won't be for a while as I need to get all my covid jabs again, the stem cell transplant procedure wipes out all previous jabs. Think they start again beginning of June so it'll be a few months after that.

When I do return I'll be around the same height as yourself! I've lost about 5 inches in height due to my collapsed vertebrae, in fact I may turn out to be the smallest attendee. Had to lower my seat height at the steel, fortunately my feet still reach the pedals

I remember the first night I came to Gartcosh and you came up to me with the fake teeth in, I thought at the time, these are my sort of people and nothing has changed my mind since then. I used to enjoy the after banter when we were all packed up at the end of the night.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Take care,

Geoff
