Postby Zumbilly(Murdoch) » Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:02 am

I have a Rittenberry which I may be selling soon and was wondering if there are any players out there who own one. I have never seen any posts of owenrship here.

Tried Billy’s through a Roland amp he had, sounded brilliant, also had a go on one at Dallas show, very impressive guitars. Was told Gary also supplied the mechanics for Justice steels, although not sure about that.Believe Gary has stepped back from building now due health problems but they are now being built by a guy who worked with him, sorry can’t remember his name.
MSA Millennium SD1O, GK MB200,Sica 12 and Telonics 15 speakers , Joyo American Sound pre amp, Jay Ganz Straight Ahead 500w class D Amp, Hilton pedal, Peterson tuners,Digitech RP150,Scott Dixon seat/ flight case.

They are now being built by Derek Puckett. Gary gave him an extensive apprenticeship and the first few guitars Derek built were built under his supervision. The Derek built ones have started to get released into the wild and are getting rave reviews.

Within a very short time of My post about possibly selling the Rittenberry I was contacted by an interested party and the guitar has now been sold. I did think long and hard about selling but to have it sitting in the case in the spare room is very unfair to the poor wee guitar.I still have two sooper dooper guitars at home so I am still a lucky guy.
