I was very sad to learn through a Facebook message that "Stan Steel" from Bridport in Dorset passed away on November 26th. His funeral will be on Monday 9th December. His last post that I saw indicated that he was not well. He will be sadly missed by me as I spent many moments chewing the fat at the Snack Shack. RIP mate.

That's sad news, Harry, although I never knew 'Stan Steel', I always enjoyed the humour he put in his posts. He will be missed.

What a shocker, I am so sorry to hear this. I had arranged to visit Stan in the very near future at his Bridport snack bar.
I knew he was ill but had no idea how ill. RIP Stan.

If anyone is in the area, Stan's family are still running the Snack Shack, and would be glad to say hello and share a cuppa.
