Spoke to Billy a few months ago in Glasgow, he said the collection was one of the most amazing things he had seen, he told me the first steel guitar( lap) he had ever seen was in Glasgow in a band run by a Canadian guy and was amazed when I told him the player was Bobby.Buchanan, the guy who got me interested in steel, and that I had played bass in one of the many bands run by the Little Canadian Jakie Connoly ( no connection to Billy) .He asked me if I had ever seen a left handed 5 string banjo, which I hadn't , and that he had seen three in a Toronto music store and had wondered about who owned them ever since.I asked Al Brisco if he had ever known of any left handed 5 String players, but Al did not know of any.If anyone knows of any let me know and I will pass it on to BIlly.

Will if you ask him nice he will bring you a "Jimmy hat" , worn with a string vest and kilt with a paint brush as a sporran it really helps you get into the right character for perfecting the accent.
