Postby JohnDavisStringsHere » Mon Dec 19, 2011 9:40 am

Here my fellow Steelers is a picture of plaque I spied on Uncle Roys Wall when I went down to the Christmas meeting! He was`ent gonna tell us about it (cos we all know he does`ent like to blow his own trumpet!BUT!! how nice to see our illustrius (how the hell do you spell that word?) leader, finaly get some recognition that he so richly deserves :)
He certainly should get a very public thank you from us all for at least 35 years of faithful service to steelies all over the UK ;)
Thank you Uncle Roy........ :D

Well done Uncle Roy, there isn't a more deserving person I can think of, and I may add a nicer one.

I have to agree with all the previous members who have posted their opinions on Uncle Roy, he knows I take the p---s out of him all the time, but he knows I don't mean it. Uncle Roy is the nicest, most humble person I know, and he should blow his own trumpet a lot more.

Well Done Roy.

It's about time we all gave you a pat on the back for all the time and effort you put into the B.S.S.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I offer my hands across the sea also to congratulate Uncle Roy on his well deserved recognition , 8-) 8-)
As Donnie said , he is a fine fellow and deserves more acclaim, not sure about the "humble" bit, was'nt
that from a Dickinson story ? Oh, that was Uriah Heep, sorry !
Seriously, I've known Roy for many, many years and he really deserves a place in the E.S.G.H.F. without
a doubt ! Good on you Roy ! :guitar:
All the best
Lin and Frank. Corfu
Oh, did you get that CD we sent you ?? :D :D
