Yep, they missed their chance to come in with a light reasonably powered amp, without all the built in effects( so many out board ones available to suit everyone's taste),but above all at a price the average steel player could afford. I know there are some who say price is on a par with those of the time period of the 400 series, but I can only equate that with the fact that wages have not risen, when I stopped playing last year, some nights I was getting the same or less than I was ten or more years ago.For me personally I couldn't and wouldn't pay these prices, and I think Peavey will live to regret such a price hike, as players go for other options.
