Sad to hear singer Curtis Potter passed away at the weekend. Ok,many may not have heard of him, but if you are a lover of "Heart of Texas" records then you have most likely heard him. He had lung cancer and a double bout of pneumonia.A great honky-tonk singer. R.I.P. Curtis.

Met Curtis Potter several times when I was at the Dallas Jamboree. He was a great singer sounding a lot like Ray Price. Buddy Emmons liked Him a lot.

Very sad news, one of my favourite singers along with Ray Price, Darrell McCall and Johnny Bush. R. I. P. Curtis.
