Instruction.

Hi guy's and gal's, had on or two on the Utube site ask, why did I not say which strings to pick on my lessons.
The Steel Guitar lessons are to help newby's and others to go forward on the instrument, I try to make them so as to feel they are on a one to one basis, and have omited telling student's what strings to pick, as it leave's nothing to look for.
Whatever fret I am on, the note's they want are within that fret area and with a little hunting around they will find the notes required thereby helping them to find there way.
Too much info,i,e, what pedals or knee levers, what fret, and what strings to pick clogs the brain, so looking for the right strings will allow you to progress better.
If you are not able to find the right strings to pick without being told then you won't move forward and will learn nothing, be adventourous and go find what you need to play the song, it's all there and when found you will be well pleased with yourself, and so you should be. Slim.
