Hey that was great Uncle Roy and so nice to see Steve Robinson again, Where you see that plane pull out is at the back of his house on Airline Drive, I stayed there for best part of a week last time I was over ... its not the first time I have seen that plane take off. Its a great big oval shaped estate with the runway up the middle and I reckon they all have planes as well as cars. Steve is a national hero in the USA and one of the nicest guys you could meet. I really enjoyed the clip.

I know I'm new to playing lap steel, but why is it that this new film typical of things from the US, that is to say only Americans put steel guitars on the map. I used to listen as a kid to Wout Steenhaus a guy who played underground in Holland and came to the UK and was more than big. Playing all types of music on his steel. He was a 1st in terms of recording popularity and to my ears damn good. Don't see any reference to him on the trail for this new film. Mmm I'll reserve more thoughts until I see the finished film.
