Hi
I'm a PSG newbie and looking for a Carter 2" overheight/lift kit for my Starter ie 3 x 2" pedal rod extenders and 4 x 2" leg extenders
(I have asked Al Brisco @ SGC but he does not have an ETA from his engineer....)
I also need a decent volume pedal with a low profile (my old plastic boss volume pedal doesnt quite cut it!) I read good things about goodrich/hilton pedals. Anybody have one for sale?
Many thanks
Jan

Hi John,
Thanks a lot for your offer. I see you nearly 3hrs driving away from me, tricky if there's a chance it wont fit! Would you consider posting the lift kit and how much do you want for it?
Best
Jan

Hi John Yes, I need to extend both legs and pedal rods. A pro ShoBud, I wish

But seriously, strictly out of interest at this point, assuming I'll be spending money importing the lift kit + wanting to upgrade the Carter quickly, what is the ShoBuds spec, how much would it be and would you take the Carter as part-exchange? Thx Jan

Jan, this needs a bit of thought ..... as the legs on the C/S are not adjustable your lift kit is gonna involve quite a lot of engineering .... I think four threaded spacers on the thread end of your legs to start with before you even think about the pedal rods.... I would start looking for a small engineering company to make them if you are determined to go that way ...its borderline as to if its worth it because at the end of it you will soon want to move on from it and get a real guitar.
The ShoBud S10 is on tour at the moment with Ian Cameron
17 - Riverside Cafe (Sheffield)
18 - Room With a View (Glasgow)
20 - Gaslight Club (Leeds)
I get it back first thing Monday morning (that's if Ian does not decide to take it back to Canada with him)
The Price is £1150 - 00

Hi John,
Very tempting offer, and I would if I had the £££. Fortunately, Al Brisco has come through and my lift kit is on its way. I will however keep saving the pennies and could well be in touch before long...!
