I will be trading my beautifull ZB SD10 next week for a very nice Bud PRO 1 and i would like try and get two more pedals on so i can set the steel up with a semi universal tuning :ie i want to raise the 5&6 strings up to get the maj 7th with the E`s lowered, and raise the 4th string up and lower it back to E,and also lower the 8th string down to D to give me a 9th chord again with the E`s down,i would prefer Bud pedals but any will do because i can get them machined to fit and look the part, any help would be fantastic.

Jimmy! Jimmy! You are dooin! Oor heids in! Do you want Narra! Pedals! or Paddle Pedals! If you can get them machined why do you want any chuffin pedals at all! Get your machine man to make the damn things from scratch! I really do like where you going with this and I like the sound of semi universal but jings you are something else! Some sweet day we must hear all these fabulous chords you are getting with this! I for one '''''''''''''''''''just can’t wait'''''''''''''''''! ;)

Hi Bob :? the reason i don`t wan`t to get the pedals made from s cratch is the price,he says if i gave him one of the original pedals to fabricate from a sollid ingot of ally and they would cost between £35/40 each, i already have the parts to do the underside,so i thought i would try and find two pedals that i could use.As far as the set up if you play C6th the 6 th pedal will give you a 9 chord and the 7th pedal will give you a maj 7th,so if i lower the two E`s on the E9th tuninig and raise the 5 and 6 string on pedal 4 that will give me a maj 7th on the fret i am playing at,if i keep the E`s lowered and raise the 4 string and lower the 8 the 8th string ,then press the pedal pulling the 4th E`String up up to F# and then lower it back to E on the E`s lower knee lever then take 8 th string down to D still with the E`s lowered it will give a 9th chord great for swing ,BLUES and R&R,but just to add there is no open 9th D string, i will get that with a knee lever, the lower B is the 9th string now ,i will raise the G# 3 times on the B pedal 3/6/10 strings.Hope you can understand what i have tried to explain.
