I've used http://www.stringbusters.com/ to build sets using D'Addario singles which worked fine for me.

To save money there were 5-packs of D'Addario strings. Don't know if they are still available. Avoid. With these multi-packs it turned out the plain strings were higher carbon (I think they are supposed to be brighter so probably harder) and I experienced an increase in breakage on 011. The standard singles though have been fine for me, I still carry them as spares.

You can still get from Rebecca the Buddy Emmons signature S.I.T. sets for £6 E9th, / £7 C6th , / and £8 for 12 string Uni. with 6 string guitar sets 9 --42 or 10 -- 46 at £3-50 a set. post packing remains at £3 despite post office increase so best to order a few sets and get your moneys worth from the post office!.... There is no better deal out there ;)

As none of my old Emmons break 11¬s and you get two 11¬s in the S.I.T. sets I get a build up of them each time I change my strings so now and then I am able to include a few spares in with orders F.O.C for those that need them but this is on a first come first served basis.

As I always say, "If they are good enough for Emmons, They are surely good enough for me! "
