howdy doody...is there anyone on here that supplies sets or single strings for lapsteel, at the moment im tuned to C6 and am using gauges 15 18 22 24 30 36...but would like to try 17 20 24 26 32 38...i need 'em pretty quickly as im upgrading my guitar and will need to restring also just got a new guitar and will need to change the strings on that as soon as it turns up...cheers terry

how bout just goin' down to yer nearest musik store & buying the individual strings Terry ?
that's what i do when i'm in a jam

hello james, that is a possibility, but theres only 1 store close by, their prices are extortionate £9.50 for a set but they dont do the gauges im after...i normally get them from hanks house of steel in the usa $3.99 but it normally takes a couple of weeks to get here...i ve looked online but i can only find pearse or asher both of which ive tried but dont like, too much noise... or on ebay, ive been checking out the ernie ball custom guage but again the gauge im after they only seem to sell in packs of 6 which puts up the price...guess i'll just have to put in an order with hank and wait for the refurb...thanks for the reply anyway james...terry
