The British Steelies Society

Want some info on a Tube amplifier that is heading my way. it's in a state of severe disrepair, as the pics will show. And please ignore the dodgy wooden cabinet- it's not original, obviously!
Hope someone can identify this thing, So I can look online for a schematic or circuit diagram.
Incidentally, It looks like it may be from across the pond, judging by the power input markings.

Well, it looks a lot like an old Vox Defiant or one in that range except for the sky blue chasis colour which might
be ,as you say, from across the pond.
There is a picture of a defiant in the amp section of ebay under Vox for you to see what it looks like, Oh, they
want 500 quid for it !!

Well done Frank,right into the ballpark with your description. What you have there Jason is a Vox Orbiter solid state amp.Part of their range called 'ampliphonic sound'. I sound very knowledgeable here, but the truth is I found the name plates while sorting thru the many bits and peices in the collection. I'll take some pics 2moro (Sunday) and try putting them up here, I,m sure other members would find this project of interest.
