Nice one Allan, thanks for this...I'm gonna see what Bob comes up with..The SKB stuff is ok but i've had their cases get broken before, especially by grouchy ground staff at airports.. I'm looking for a case for life

The skb is tempting though as it will keep the weight down

Matt you might want to take a look at Scott Dixon cases , light but strong

I'm also not so sure about SKB, the Storm case looked more interesting and it looks like you can get them for around £200 from here.

My comparatively light GFI steel ends up around 30kg in my flight case, there's gotta be a lighter solution.

That Storm case looks good, is it ATA rated, can't see that mentioned, anybody using one?My Millenium in Scott Dixon comes in about 22kgs, although for local gigs in my own car I put body in padded gig bag on back seat of car 16kgs and use a case I got from JD for legs and pedal rack about 7kgs.Looked at price of Storm £193-223 +VAT depending on which model and empty or with foam.

Matt, if you do decide to go with the SKB H3611 you can get one from 3d who used to be the "Packhorse" case co. in Peterborough. They are a great company to deal with and would probably fit the high density foam for you if you sweet talk`em .... heres a link...

looks like a fair price to me :)
