Quality Pedal Steel Guitar Wanted

Postby coolsteel » Sun Feb 05, 2012 7:42 pm

Having recently sold my PSG and am now looking for a quality replacement instrument preferable with an Emmons setup SD10 or D10 but it would not present a problem if it were a Day setup as this can be changed. The ideal guitar would be 1 inch lower that standard height if possible but don't let this stop you offering a regular standard height guitar if you have one that you wish to sell.

Hi Frank,

I bought a new Rains SD10 4x4 from Ted. I'll post a picture when I get it sometime next week.

Regards
Richard

Hi Frank,

Sorry about the delay in posting. Here are 3 pictures of my new guitar, I have since fitted new 1" shorter legs and pullrods also a new Telonics 84 pickup on it and will be fitting a new vertical B to Bb lever on it as soon as I get the parts from Ted.

Richard

That's a real Beauty, Richard. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Nice colour scheme.

wOW.... Whoopie doop .
That is the BEST designed Rains Gary has made to date. Same as mine.. I love the colour.
And full out with Telonics too...
KEEP THAT PUP LOW... Otherwise you will be adjusting pole unnecessarily.
6mm from the strings, and no adjustment may be needed. They are powerful and high frequency tones may be heard otherwise.
I wouldn't worry about lowering B to Bb. You will NEVER use it.
Do a split on the 6th only With the up lever. Trust me.
It will be one you will ALWAYS use.
Congrats on the great new steel.
I want one.... :D
CD's and individual tracks available to download from iTunes and CD Baby.
