Looking for a non-pot volume pedal, Hilton ideally but will consider others. Time to upgrade my Boss FV50!

Hi Ted,
I have a Hilton Pedal..........but it hums and crackles. It has a 'aftermarket' 24 v power supply. Would not having the makers power supply cause this?

Quite possibly Baz, the proper one is Phihong Model PSAA20R-240 They cost around £30.00
