Looking for my first PS

Hi there, great site with loads of info.

I have been looking for a beginners PS for a while without so much luck.

I'm not really sure of any of the tech terms for PS's [coming from a bluegrass banjo picking background], and i'd appreciate any pointers you might have in terms of the do's, don'ts and pitfalls of starting out on a pedal steel.

Any advice warmly recieved and if there is a starter out there with my name on it [Frank :0)] then all the better.

Thank you in advance and all the best from London

Hi Frank, welcome to the forum, I still maintain Student model guitars are the road to frustration and any pro model I think is worth going that extra mile for. Frank you have done the right thing to ask first ...many buy first and regret later, take someone with you who knows what they are looking at... its a minefield out there, a duff guitar can destroy a mountain of enthusiasm .....loads of help on here ;)

A big welcome to our site Frank, JDs comments are correct and if you were prepared to go for a second pro model I am sure our John could offer you a choice of guitars he has available. Send him a PM.
