Davie, there is a Telonics pre200 going on American Forum if that is any use to you, selling from Austin, so you might be able to get someone pick it up from Dallas show.

Mr Bing, please get your own thread for slagging off MSA carbon fibre guitars. I would put my MSA up against ANY guitar after all, most of the tone, sweetness and like-ability comes from the players hand and technique. I am not doubting your ability to play, nor am I undermining your sense of loyalty to wodden steel guitars. Everyone has their opinion, and in my opinion, just STFU if
MSA Millenium M3, a Carter and a bunch of Telonics stuff

How can I slag off Tupperware when I have just bought a case made of the stuff? Also I have 3 bins in the garden made from it and it does the job just fine. Why do Tupperware players take the bait so quickly?

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopi ... rbon+fiber

Just out of interest, I once asked the great Tommy White why he stopped playing MSA's Tupperware guitar, and he said that he had to get back to a wood body as the Tupperware jobby sounded "too sterile". There you have it. Tupperware violins, guitars and pedal steel never caught on commercially. I promise that I won't take the pee out of Tupperware steel guitars again on this forum. I did nae realise that you guys are sooooo sensitive about your plastic geetars.  Having said that, one of the prettiest pedal steels on show at Dallas in recent years has been Joan Cox's MSA.
