MSA Legend. Now fitted with a new set of " Live Steel" strings.......Telonics rig, personally re-tuned by Mr Dunn....He flew in from the UK , just to get the job done. Where would you get service like that... Only from a Telonics dealer .........The Big sustain is back ......... Show pro now 2 nd.....MSA guitars are simply, the Rolls Royce of the steel guitar world...PERIOD....Mr Dunn also found a problem with one of my Special JBL speakers........That means it will now have to be shipped way back to Nashville. for a re-build... .Mr Bing you will now have to consider, a new test with your new Infinity and your Show Pro........

Malcolm Fit new " Live Steel " strings to your MSA and be amazed at the results......................

Well now Ivor, there is a saying in the States. "If you can't afford a pedal steel, buy an MSA". I guess they were referring to the old models, but......... :D

There is no way that you can put your Legend side by side with a Show Pro and find it superior tone wise. It was not down to the strings that your guitar couldn't compete with mine for sustain. I had an old set of Cobra Coils on mine, and it still out-performed your MSA I'm afraid. Your Legend just didn't have the depth of tone that mine had - end of. The Infinity too would blow your MSA away tone-wise, as would my Emmons and Carter. Sorry. Just log onto the home page of Show Pro's web site and listen to Lloyd Green and Tommy White playing their Show Pros at the time. Tonal perfection IMHO :P

The customer service from Mark Dunn is to be commended.

Ivor is very easy to wind up Malcolm. I did it once when he was driving Ted and I in Dallas. I told him quite a funny gag, and he nearly swerved off the flyover that we were on. :o :o

Ivor's MSA has the sustain and bottom end that only a Springfield or a Little Buddy can rival.

(By the way Ivor - you need to put your spell checker on. It is Bill LaWrence not Laurence). :!: :!:

Have contacted all other MSA "THE ROLLS ROYCE" of steels owners, and contributions for the hit man are well in hand Mr Byng .

The MSA can no longer lay claim to being the best engineered pedal steel out there now that Frank Carter's Infinity is on the scene. However, the Infinity has great tone tone too, very Emmons-like. ;) The Emmons push pull is legendary for its tone, yet could never be considered to be an engineering masterpiece. But it works, and works very well.
