My preference is Jagwire, have tried various makes and for me these strings had better tone and lasted a lot longer.Have recomended them to a few friends who all found them to be first class.If they were good enough for John Hughey they are good enough for me.

Malcolm, I had a conversation with Bob Hird (now retired) who was the president of the S.I.T. company at the time and I asked him if he was making the Jags for Danny...... his answer was "I can`t tell you that" so make of that what you will LOL ... He would not sell me any though

John, have used SIT's in past , good enough strings, but to me Jags definately sounded better, and no string breakage with them, had string breakage with SIT's .Even though they could be made in same factory,all sort of things could be different eg different steel or production method, who knows? Have a good stock of Jags I got from Jean Hughey at Dallas, so set up for a while as work is few and far between in this current financial climate.
