Help me buy my first pedal steel please!

Hey all, so I finally have some cash together to get a pedal steel (£1000+). Does anyone have anything they would shift for that much or less that would be good for a total novice? I’ve got a lap steel and have been a regular electric guitarist for decades. Hopefully someone has something. Or even some advice? Both are welcome.

Hi Pete, Tis a fair trot from Bookham to St.Neots Cambs but if your up this way your welcome to play a push pull and an all pull and learn a bit about it, I have an S10 but not quite ready to part with it yet as I have a job coming up soon and I need it for that as there is not enough room at the gig for a Double body guitar.

I have a single neck 3 pedals 4 levers psg plus practise amp that I bought from John (above) a few years ago as my first psg, I'm ready to move on to another one so this would happily serve the same purpose for you. I'm in Dorset feel free to PM me- Damian.
