My first pedal steel guitar

Postby petefrombookham » Wed Mar 06, 2019 2:52 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy my first pedal steel guitar. I've always loved the sound and really want to dig in and learn it. Played guitar for decades, so hopefully that'll help.

If you have anything suitable, please let me know. Budget is around £700. I live in Surrey and work in central London, so could collect from either, otherwise postage is fine too.

Thanks

Pete

After some early research, I've decided I'm gonna up my budget to £1000, as I've played cheap electric guitars before and know firsthand how demoralising it is to learn on a 'cheap' instrument.

It is so difficult to find these machines for sale in the UK! Not just privately, in shops too. Anyone know of music shops in London/South East that sell them?

I'm sure I just need to be patient and snaffle around this website some more to find out what's what.

There's a couple of peaches in the 'for sale' section. Posted by Alan Black, check them out :guitar:
