Leg sockets

Anybody got three (or four) leg sockets for converting lap-steel to consul; With the usual 1/2in x 13 thread - in UK?
I know I can get them from Gary Sill ($20 ea.) in USA or I could make some from aluminium (or similar) blanks (I have the tap) but thought I'd try the easy way first :roll:
