Has anyone got an old steel in the attic or out in the shed that is rotting away. I am looking for such a guitar just to mess about with. Now I am retired I have loads of time on my hands and sweet FA to do and very little money to do it with, but I will pay a fair price for anything you may have just so I can have something to do. What are you really after? I have two you can have a look at and pass a comment or two about them. The first is my original 21 fret lap steel made out of Elm with a beech fret board with copper inlay frets (which could be changed without any trouble) or there is the cherry wood one with again a beech é' fret fretboard.

The elm one has no tuners or bridge and the other has no tuners, but does have a bridge, pickup under strung tail piece and pots.
