Donny the tank I have has a nylon connector on one end and I think it has phono plugs on the tank, I will check tomorrow.

This confuses my brain...
Is Baz a secret reverb tank collector?
Why would anybody have all them in the garage? And where I'd they come from, why would you take one out of an amp if t wasn't faulty? Fascinating. And are they needed? Rattly old springs that stretch, rattle and sound like a bomb going off if you walk on a stage which has a bit of movement... I hate reverb at a gig, I prefer to hear PA vocals dry, and instruments with as little as possible. OK, recording is different, you haven't got the natural reverberation like you have in a hall.
Anyway, you all know where to get your noisy old spring reverbs from now, Baz Weston, the Weeverb man...

David, sorry to mess with you dear old head. no confusion really,these springs came from a collection of musical gear that a friend inherited when another mate of ours lost his battle with the big C. He had been buying stuff (Guitars,Amps,and speakers) for years. Anywho, we had to place it all in storage and some bits ended up in my garage. I always look in at the for sale and wanted but up till this point could never help anyone on there search. I threw these up to help out if I could. the fact that it was our Scottish connection interested me even more as I admire the brotherhood they have established and, I love the banter between them. Now I appreciate the boost you gave me but,If I'm to have a nic-name, I would prefer weenoun, as opposed to weeverb, 'cos everybody that knows me knows I am (here it comes) "weenoun" for keeping my word. ps. still saving for the trip down to see you, ===== Baz.
