Emmons Knee lever and bell crank parts

Postby Basil Henriques » Fri Oct 22, 2010 1:04 pm

Parts for an Emmons PP. bell crank can be double neck or single neck length. Knee levers can be L,R, or V.
I have a pocket that's smouldering with the money so hot trying to get out..

Baz, I dont have any Emmons knee lever parts. However! I do have an old plumbers tool box with some molegrips, all chrome and shiny (mind you I think thats the effects of the fat and grease)
Let me know if they are any use to you. ;) ;) ;)

Frank, do you mind? Im trying to have a sensible converation here ;) ;) ;)
Baz is looking for knee levers to match his existing ones, we all know that knee levers to baz equate to molegrips,ok?

Your tools are safe here in Wales should you ever return, wouldnt advise it now with the state of the Welsh Assembly threatened cutbacks, looks like there are to be no more free pedal steels for pensioners, am I glad I got in just before they stopped em?

Anyway Baz, not wishing to divert from your request, the molegrips are still available, not sure yet whether I want to sell em or trade em, and price could fluctuate with current interest. If your not interested Ill put em on e bay.
I know Steddie Eddie is looking for bargains.
 ;) ;) ;)
Dave.
Its Friday evening, here on tele Llanelli are losing to Cardiff Blues at rugby, I'm bored cant you tell?

Yo Baz! It seems your grip has become a legend!!!!!The joys of going public eh!

OK!!!! Your bell cranks are ‘aw’ the wan’ length!! But I think I know what you mean. Are the levers going on a S / SD or D? Need to know for the bracket height. If single they are both the same otherwise they are ‘one leg on the pavement and the other on the road’! I don’t have them in a junk bin or on the shelf though! So if nobody donates them in the meantime I can throw them together for you. How many do you need? I would hate your smouldering pockets to do you a dis-service, I know how much you need you equipment to be in perfect working order! NB. They won't be black, I only do 'au naturale' not oiled or tanned but very highly polished!

Well I really WASN'T looking to make up a matched stereo pair of these:-

I need a couple of levers more like the ones REAL players use !!
LKL RKL and RKR (That's the awkward buggah)

BTW do you think THIS guitar needs a new fretboard ?

Can anyone explain why I find the Americanism "Mashing the Pedals" to be offensive to the more gentle of us pickers. AND, I really can't get my head around the pronunciation of LEE-VER, as we say, and Leh-ver as they do..
Saturday rant time is now over (Maybee)

I simply LOVE that picture of a mole, couldn't you have some fun with him poking out of your half open fly.. The colour is spot on though the size could be questionable in some instances..!!

Eddie, Is that mole for sale? better stil I could part- ex it for some rabbits and a few rats, they are well fed on part of my garden and a chunk of the door frame to my workshop.

Baz, Every time I see the pics of your old Emmons it raises a chuckle, Your a bright lad, great steelie, master of all things inteligent, but! christ! your steel cleaning duties certainly get slightly neglected, have you ever thought of getting Wimpy or McAlpines in to give you a quote? Having said that it may be that Pat is not doing her bit in looking after all your needs. ;)

Basil, i would be frightened the mole would do an about turn in my fly, he could inflict some damage with them gnashers,
Dave, the mole is one of a number of UK mammals not found in Ireland, so on the basis of that fact, plus there being no shortage of rats and rabbits here, i want to tell you where im at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM OUT!!!!!!!! ADRIAN STAYS!!!!!! its a far superior animal to the ones you are offering imho, NOW CAN WE PLEASE GET BACK ON TO THE SUBJECT IN HAND,
basil's spare parts,
