Not exactly an item, but: Can anyone put me in touch with a good psg mechanic who lives in the south/south east to set up my steel better than I can? Thanks, Dave.

Bob Adams is your man Dave he comes far enough south to sort you out ......... You might have to meet him half way to north London but twill be worth it

I agree with John. There's no one better.

Thanks Guys...I know Bob is the man, he has helped me out on numerous occasions, but I just wondered if there was someone I could sit down with and go through the issues, rather than email and meet at service stations. I wondered if Dave Hepworth, who is an hour away might be available or willing? I seem to remember there was a John White in Petersfield mentioned to me once...is he still around? Gerry Hogan also said he had a wizard at doing set ups and alterations. Also Ken Byng has commented on this forum in the past about someone he recommends. If I wanted a total rebuild/refurb, Bob would be my first and natural choice, but I'd like to know if there was someone more local I could meet up with for small adjustments I can't get quite right . I'm not looking for a favour, and would expect to pay.
BTW John. I didn't get round to explaining or apologising. I came to Great Barford last meeting with intention of playing from 3-4 and then watching the big boys. I arrived late and left early because an exhaust leak on my car made me late and gave me a massive headache. It looked like a great meeting which I regret missing. I did however, pay entrance and buy some strings!
I'll be there at the next one.

Have you tried our very own David Hartley, or Mark Dunn?

Dave
My old pal Ron Mawn just outside of Southampton is brilliant at set ups. He worked for may years for Sho-Bud in London.

Dave Wiggins in Grays, Essex is excellent. I don't have his number to hand at the moment but he usually has an ad in the BSS quarterly mag.

Thank you everyone, it's great to receive such helpful replies. Ken, do you have Ron Mawn's contact details please? These numbers would be good to keep on file and perhaps in the future if someone asks the same question, I can be as helpful as you have all been. Dave
