Appreciate your endorsement Willie! But there is a requirement often for (genuine parts) and I get that and don't have a problem with it at all. Regardless of whether you replicate a part to exacting standard it remains aftermarket.
I sold a beautiful P/P last year and prior one potential buyer said no thanks I'll wait until I can find the genuine article, mm! I will be seeing that again next month as the guy is looking for some tuition. I would buy that back anytime!!.. Anyway...Trouble is these parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source and the latter will be the only option for change or upgrade at some stage. Ron Lashley and I had an exchange over the fretboards I produced but that was when Emmons was still in business; although no longer supplying the steel boards. In any event I will not be mass producing anything, it's just not worth it! A point on levers, if they are required to be black, the last ones I had done cost me £50 and I waited till the guy had a run of black to do, it would have been prohibitive otherwise. Not all things can be knocked up for 2/6..... But hey, thank you again!
Attached old Emmons parts page for interest.
